Medilis-super instructions for use
Disinfection begins with preparing an aqueous solution. The concentration depends on the insect with which it is planned to fight. You need to stir for 5 minutes. For convenience, the finished product is placed in a sprayer.
Bed bug solution
If the room is heavily infested with bedbugs, it is necessary to dilute 5 ml of concentrate in 1 liter of water. For moderate and mild infection, it is enough to dilute 2 ml in the same amount of water. Product consumption 50 ml per 1 sq. m. area. It is not recommended to apply bedbug repellent to bed linen and blankets - it is better to boil them.
Cockroach solution
To destroy such insects you will need 17 ml of concentrate per 1 liter of water. With a small number of insects, a less concentrated solution is prepared. Product consumption – 50 ml per 1 sq. m. area. On an absorbable surface – 100 ml.
First of all, you need to treat the insect nest and places of their possible movement. What should be disinfected:
- Carpet runners and carpets on the reverse side;
- cracks in walls and floors:
- places where wallpaper and laminate are peeling off;
- skirting boards;
- window sills;
- ventilation;
- water pipes;
- furniture.
Disinfection procedure
Processing is carried out in compliance with safety precautions. Having a protective suit, gloves, a respirator and even goggles is a must. After finishing work, it is advisable to take a shower or wash your hands with soap and wash.
The room is ventilated for 60 minutes. At most, 30 minutes. Then wet cleaning is carried out. The floor and all places where residents' hands can touch are washed with a soap and soda solution. You should not remove the product in inaccessible places. This is done after the final death of the insects. It is recommended that all household members enter the house 2 hours after wet cleaning.
Do not pour any remaining drug down the drain.
The effectiveness of the drug depends on the degree of damage to the room, the concentrate and the quality of disinfection. After 10-14 days, it is recommended to re-treat.
How effective the drug against cockroaches and bedbugs is can be judged by customer reviews.
Terms of use
To get rid of a specific pest, you need your own concentration of the active substance. The algorithm of actions also depends on the place where you are going to carry out the processing.
When treating outdoor areas, weather conditions must be taken into account. Do not work on windy or rainy days. The forecast for the next three days ahead should be just as serene.
The working emulsion is valid for eight hours from the moment of dilution. Therefore, it is better to mix the drug with water immediately before use.
Ticks
In our country there are ticks Ixodes, Dermacentor, Haemaphysalis, Rhipicephalus, Hyalomma marginatum. In addition, there are also rat mites and scabies mites. The table describes the proportions of working emulsions for various types of these pests.
Table - Working emulsions "Medilis Cyper" against ticks
Type of tick | Amount of water (l) | Amount of product (ml) |
Ixodes | 25-75 | 10 |
Dermacentor, Haemaphysalis, Rhipicephalus | 120 | 10 |
Hyalomma marginatum | 200 | 10 |
Rat and scabies | 20 | 10 |
10 liters of ready-made solution is enough to treat an average of eight acres of land. If your area is smaller, reduce the amount of water and product proportionally.
In the case of ixodid ticks, the amount of product in the working emulsion varies depending on the degree of tick infestation of the area: the more insects, the greater the concentration of the substance required to destroy them. If you don’t know what type of tick lives in your area, take 120 ml per 10 liters of water.
Cockroaches, crickets, ants
In these cases, it is important to treat the entire apartment at once, otherwise there will be no result. You need to carefully walk through the places where insects can accumulate and where they can come from:
The working emulsion against cockroaches and crickets is diluted as follows: 40 ml of product per 10 liters of water. From ants: 20 ml per 10 liters of water. In this case, the solution is applied to non-absorbent surfaces at the rate of 50 ml per 1 m2. On absorbent surfaces, 100 ml of solution should be used for every 1 m2.
The manufacturing company also released highly targeted formulations: ready-made emulsion “Medilis Superpower for cockroaches” and gel “Medilis anti-Cockroach”. The effect of the emulsion lasts up to three weeks, the gel - up to two months.
Bedbugs
If there is a slight infestation of bed bugs, treat their habitats directly: bed, sofa, chair, bedside rugs. If there are a lot of bedbugs, you will have to spray baseboards, carpeting, tapestries, wallpaper joints, the space under the window sill, doorways, window frames, cracks in walls and furniture. If pests “walk” around the room, double the concentration of the emulsion. The drug should be diluted at the rate of 20 ml of product per 10 liters of water.
Bed linen must be removed before treatment - it cannot be sprayed. The rule of double consumption also applies here: apply 50 ml of solution per 1 m2 to non-absorbent surfaces, and 100 ml per 1 m2 to absorbent surfaces.
The same manufacturing company also produces highly targeted anti-bedbug products: “Medilis AntiBed” and “Medilis Supersila for Bedbugs.” These are ready-to-use solutions in containers with sprayers. The difference is in composition. "Medilis AntiKlop" contains a combination of tetramethrin, cypermethrin and permethrin, the effect lasts up to two months. And “Mediis Superpower for bedbugs” contains imidacloprid and cypermethrin, the validity period is up to three weeks.
Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes can attack both indoors and outdoors. Here you need to treat insect landing sites and not miss breeding sites: basements, closed reservoirs, flooded areas of the territory.
“Mediys Cyper” is diluted in the standard way in all cases: 20 ml of the product per 10 liters of water - to combat flying insects and 40 ml per 10 liters of water - to destroy mosquito larvae. After 10-15 days, you need to inspect again and, if necessary, repeat the treatment.
Fleas
In the case of fleas, if the house has basements, it is not enough to treat only the apartment - the pests will appear again. In a living room, you need to carefully treat the floors, baseboards and at least a meter of wall above them, all cracks in the walls, wallpaper areas and joints, carpeting and the floor underneath them. Don't forget to ventilate the room after finishing work. And then wash the surfaces with which we come into contact with a soap and soda solution.
Before treatment, basements must be cleared of debris and irrigated generously with the solution. It is better to wash the emulsion from contact surfaces after three days, with the same soap and soda solution.
Dilute the drug at the rate of 4-40 ml of product per 10 liters of water. The quantity depends on the degree of insect infestation in the room. When treating basements, the concentration of the working emulsion should be maximum.
Emulsion preparation
According to the instructions for use of Medilis Cyper, the working solution is prepared immediately before use. Tap water or filtered water from a pond will do. Measure out the required amount of product and liquid, combine and stir evenly for 5 minutes. The prepared solution can be stored for up to 8 hours.
To apply Medilis Cyper, you can use any sprayer: mechanical, electric, or even a regular sprayer. It is only necessary that the surface is covered with the working emulsion evenly.
When working with Medilis Cyper, use personal protective equipment (rubber gloves, mask or respirator).
To prepare the emulsion, use disposable containers that you won’t mind throwing away. To process 1 sq. m requires about 50 ml of solution. If you apply it to clothes, the effect will last up to 14 days.
During the procedure, use personal protective equipment, including closed clothing made of thick fabric, a respirator, and rubber gloves. If you are processing a room, open the windows and leave them open for at least half an hour after all work is completed.
12 hours after spraying the product in the room, you should wash surfaces that you frequently come into contact with with water and a soap-soda solution. Secluded corners that household members typically do not enter may not need to be cleaned until you are sure that the insects have disappeared.
Super
Medilis Super against bedbugs differs from the previous product in the active substance and the addition of synergists that impart the activity of the insecticide.
Characteristics of Medilis Super
Medilis Super
The emulsion contains 24% fenthion, an insecticidal and acaricidal substance belonging to the group of organophosphorus compounds. The drug inhibits the synthesis of cholinesterase, a mediator of intersynaptic impulse transmission. In its absence, the functions of all organs are blocked, and insects die. The drug belongs to hazard class 3 and is approved for the treatment of industrial, residential premises, children's institutions and hospitals.
Important!
According to research, fenthion has cumulative properties and is able to penetrate the body through the skin, with inhaled air and orally. To avoid poisoning, you should carefully follow safety precautions when working with solutions and use personal protective equipment. The substance has a pronounced toxic effect on birds and fish. Therefore, they must be removed from the room during processing.
The product penetrates into the body of ticks and other insects:
- through the chitinous cover, upon contact with the treated surface;
- in the form of vapors through the spiracles;
- into the esophagus when eating food.
The method of penetration depends on the type of insect and the form of transformation. In relation to bedbugs, Medilis Super is active for 1 month, which is quite enough to destroy parasites at all stages of development.
The emulsion is available in the same packaging as the drug Medilis Cyper:
- glass ampoules of 1-2 ml;
- bottles of 10-25 ml;
- containers of 500 ml and 25 l.
Reviews about Medilis Super are different - they praise the effectiveness and criticize the garlic aroma, which lasts a long time, despite airing.
Review
I bought Medilis Super on the recommendation of a consultant in the chemistry department. I spent a long time choosing and looking closely - I couldn’t decide what to use to poison the bedbugs. I’m not a chemist and I don’t know the properties of insecticides. The guy advised us to take Super, since in the old house, which stood abandoned after the death of my grandmother, there were various parasites. I don’t know what the bedbugs ate, but all the furniture was covered in marks from bedbugs, cockroaches, and God knows what else. I wanted to restore it and use it, but in this condition it is simply impossible to do so.
In order not to find out “who lives in the house,” I bought a product that destroys crawling, flying, and jumping creatures. I diluted it according to the instructions, poured it generously over everything, fortunately the container was large - it was more than enough! The smell was disgusting, but the house was uninhabited and that was not the main thing. And the efficiency turned out to be beyond praise! A week later I arrived and removed mountains of corpses! So I advise you - if you are not afraid of the smell, buy it.

Instructions for use Medelis Super
Medilis Super
Instructions for use Medilis Super contains a table indicating the concentration of the prepared solution for the destruction of different types of synanthropic insects, taking into account the stage of their development and the rate of consumption per unit area of the treated room.
On a note!
To combat bedbugs, a solution is prepared at the rate of 5 ml of emulsion per liter of water for severe infestation and 2 ml/l for moderate and weak infestation. It is advisable to use the finished mixture within 6 hours of preparation.
After pouring the emulsion into water, it is necessary to mix well, since fenthion does not dissolve well in water. Spray the prepared product in places where bedbugs accumulate and in suspected hiding places: cracks, behind baseboards, under wallpaper that has come off the walls.
