What is pest control?

Disinsection (French dés-, meaning destruction, removal + Latin insectum - insect) is a disinfection process that involves the destruction of insects that may pose one or another threat. Produced by biological, chemical or physical means.

What is the difference between disinsection and disinfection?

Desinsection is the process of destroying insects and protecting against them, and pest control is the fight and protection against viruses and infections.

As a rule, disinfestation of a one-room apartment, without dragging furniture, takes about 40 minutes for treatment and another 40 minutes for preparing and assembling equipment and signing documents.

Can only one room be treated or does the entire apartment need to be treated?

Better yet, come to an agreement with your neighbors. This way the pest will have even less chance of maintaining the population.

Will the neighbors find out?

No.
The work is not too noisy, and the preparations do not have a strong odor.

What cleaning is necessary after disinfestation?

General.
Immediately after finishing the ventilation you need to:

Collect dead insects that will die within a few days after treatment.
Wash and wash all items that may have come into contact with the product: dishes, kitchen utensils, household appliances, curtains, bedspreads, decorative pillows, etc.

2-3 days after disinfestation:

Wipe all surfaces to remove any remaining product: shelves, windows, floors, baseboards, slopes, jambs and parts of the wall around them. Despite the fact that the product has already been deactivated, we recommend not to neglect this. Health comes first.

Can household members be present in the premises?

No.
This is necessary for their safety. Disinfestation of premises is an excellent reason for an unscheduled walk with all the animals that can be taken outside. And aquariums need to be covered with film and hermetically sealed with tape, turning off aeration, if this is permissible.

Where do harmful insects come from in an apartment or house?

They appear due to non-compliance with hygiene standards and operation of premises.
Leftover food, dampness, dirty bed linen and clothes are exactly what these unwanted tenants are interested in. Initially, the problem may not even be observed with you, but with neighbors or friends whom you went to visit and brought several individuals with you.
