When insects appear in a house or apartment, the question arises of how to remove cockroaches as quickly as possible. The first step is the most time-consuming, but it is a key point in the fight against insects, which cannot be avoided. Preparing for treatment at home involves thoroughly cleaning the kitchen. It is necessary to deprive cockroaches of the opportunity to find water, as well as places where they can hide. Procedure:
- Place food in containers with tight-fitting lids or in the refrigerator.
- Empty the cabinets of food and dishes, rinse them to remove spilled groceries and crumbs.
- Wash countertops, appliances, floors, areas around the stove and under the sink.
- Check the serviceability of pipes and plumbing, do not leave dishes with water and bowls for pets overnight, drain water from the trays of pots with plants.
- Throw away the trash or cover the bin with a tight lid.
The main goal of the preparatory stage is to completely deprive cockroaches of food and water!

It is the ability of cockroaches to feed on any organic food that allows them to survive in almost any room. If somewhere there is no such human food, but there is water and a normal temperature is maintained, cockroaches will most likely be able to live there.

It would seem, why don’t they live only in the bakery, but climb into the warehouse without food and water? But this is already a strategy for the survival of the species.
So be prepared: if your neighbors often leave fried potatoes or half-eaten bread on the table, and even more so do not close the trash can, then cockroaches may appear on yours, even if there is not a single random crumb anywhere in your apartment.
But cockroaches need water much more urgently.
In rooms where there is no water at all, there are either no cockroaches at all, or they live here if they can quickly get into neighboring buildings for a watering hole.
Application of gel bait (on the eve of the main treatment)
Immediately after cleaning, apply a fast-acting gel against cockroaches. It is usually produced in a syringe or tube. Pay attention to the active ingredient in the composition. Fipronil, chlorpyrifos or diazinon are what you need. If the composition contains permethrin, cypermethrin or other pyrethroids, the gel will have an irritating effect on cockroaches, which will only cause harm.
- At night, wipe the sink dry, and place a piece of thick paper or cardboard on the bottom, after squeezing a portion of the gel onto it, preferably a larger one, at least 50 mg.
- Leave 2-3 of these gel pads on the surface of the washing cabinet, next to the sides of the sink and along the kitchen baseboard.
- Apply the gel pointwise (in small drops or dotted stripes) into door hinges, furniture legs, pipes, and along the back wall of cabinets.
Some cockroaches will receive a lethal dose of the toxic substance with the gel already at night, when they go out in search of food.
The gel will destroy some of the individuals and also create a luring effect.

The leader of the punk band "Cockroaches" Dmitry Spirin commented on the decision of several musical groups not to perform at the "Invasion" festival.
“The organizers of “Invasion” simply did not fulfill their obligations, the main condition due to which the musicians gave preliminary consent was that cooperation with the Ministry of Defense this year will become history,” he said in a conversation with Reedus.
The artist believes that the patronage of the Ministry of Defense in this case is inappropriate.
We in the “Cockroaches” group have been in incredible bewilderment for the last five years, as long as this cooperation has existed. We have never even heard of this anywhere in the world. We toured the world and attended a lot of festivals as music lovers. “No one even thinks of such a collaboration,” said the leader of the team.
Dmitry Spirin admitted that he does not condemn, but also does not support artists who decide not to refuse to perform.
“Musicians may think that there is nothing scary or absurd in the proximity of military equipment to rock music performers. I am not such a person, but I understand perfectly well that such people can exist. There are those who basically don’t care. Treatment with liquid insecticide (early morning)

Dead insects can be swept away with a brush and washed down the drain, floors can be washed without touching the baseboards and 20-30 cm from them. Wash the surfaces you touch and eat food on, such as door handles, light switches, and the dining table, using a soap and soda solution.
Placement of glue traps (evening)
In the evening, place glue traps - on the kitchen table, behind the refrigerator, in the cabinet under the sink (by the trash can), in the stove tray, on the microwave oven. For 10 square meters you need 2-3 traps.
Traps will help remove insects that survived the chemical treatment. With their help, it is convenient to track how much the number of pests has decreased.
In the morning, check for cockroaches in the traps and estimate their number.
Using Hector or boric acid
